Ken Leap
The Mathematics Of Evocative Illusion.

His groundbreaking work in monumental glass sculpture, as well as careers in meteorology and mathematics, have served Ken Leap as inspiration for his stylized landscape and image projection panel designs. During his years in academia, Leap developed a technique called refractive relief sculpture in which he created a complex lens by stacking thousands pieces of glass, each with a carefully designed curvilinear cut along one edge. He then created images in the glass through the refraction of background light. He enhanced the images through reflection of foreground light.
